Students Bring the Wari Tradition to Life
At the ground of Hindusthan Antibiotics Primary School, Pimpri, students organized a symbolic Ashadhi Bal Wari (Children's Wari). The event featured the rhythmic chanting of "Tal-Mrudung", devotional songs, saffron flags, and performances depicting various saints in traditional attire.

Ferguson College Partners with Lend A Hand India to Launch Impactful Initiative
DES's Ferguson College (FCP) is proud to announce a powerful partnership with Lend A Hand India (LAHI). This collaborative program leverages the National Service Scheme's (NSS) National Integration Tour (NIT) initiative, empowering underprivileged youth through skill development and community engagement.
FCP's NIT participants will receive financial aid for travel and expenses, allowing them to fully dedicate themselves to impactful outreach. LAHI will equip students with the necessary skills to deliver effective educational workshops, ensuring a lasting positive influence on the communities they serve.
This collaboration reflects the unwavering commitment of both FCP and LAHI to social impact and youth development. By combining resources and expertise, we're confident this program will create a ripple effect of positive change for individuals and communities alike.
Honoring Safety First: Deccan Education Society Launches Disaster Management Guidebook for Students
The Deccan Education Society has recently released a comprehensive Disaster management guidebook tailored for students. This workbook encompasses various scenarios, including first aid procedures, handling food poisoning incidents, addressing animal bites, earthquake responses, fire disasters, flood management, among others. It also features emergency contact numbers and essential signs for quick reference during emergencies.
Led by the visionary concept of Hon. Dr. Sharad Kunte and expertly compiled under the guidance of Shabnam Tarde, this unique resource was collaboratively developed by sports teachers from various schools, pooling their knowledge and experience.This initiative empowers students with the information and skills they need to stay safe and respond effectively in emergency situations, fostering a culture of preparedness and resilience within the community.
Inauguration of Seva OPD and Pathology Collection Center
on the occasion of Ashwin Shuddha Dwitiya, Seva OPD and Pathology Collection Center was inaugurated at Physiotherapy OPD of Fergusson College in association with Balasaheb Devras Polyclinic and Deccan Education Society. Dr. Sharad Kunte, chairman council & Governing Body of Deccan Education Society, dignitaries of Deccan Education society, chairman of Pune Medical Institute Shri Shirishji Deshpande and dignitaries of the Institute were present in this program. Shri. Shirish Deshpande gave information about the purpose of this initiative and the proposed Balasaheb Devaras Hospital of the organization.
